Description
In an attempt to raise vital funds over the festive period, we are reaching out to local companies to cover the costs or supplying a Christmas hamper for us to raffle at our winter fundraising event at the end of November.
Who we are:
Play Midlothian is an award-winning small charity that supports children’s health, wellbeing and development through play-based services, primarily outdoors. Each year they transform the lives of hundreds of children in need, including children with disabilities, from minority ethnic backgrounds or living in areas of multiple deprivation.
What we do:
Our purpose is to enable every child in Midlothian to thrive through play by creating opportunities and removing barriers. We focus on play because we know how much this benefits children’s health, wellbeing and development. It is important for their lives in the here and now as well as for their future life chances.
How you can help:
We would like to create two hampers, one for adults and one for children. Ideally, we would love to be gifted supermarket vouchers so that we are able to select the items ourselves.
Adult hamper – approximate cost £150-£200. Items will be festive drinks and snacks.
Children's hamper – approximate cost £50-£100. Items will be festive treats.
What we would offer to the donor:
We are happy to put a company name and logo on these hampers and share our appreciation via our social media channels.
