Funding opportunities for February 2025

The Neighbourhood Ecosystem Fund deadline for applications is now less than two weeks away, at 12pm (midday) on Monday, 3 March 2025. This fund offers a fantastic opportunity for community groups to develop their ideas for ecosystem restoration into deliverable projects, which we think might be of interest to your networks.

  • Grants of up to £13,500 are available.
  • Place-based community groups with an income of under £200,000 can apply.
  • Projects should focus on the development and feasibility stages of undertaking ecosystem restoration, rather than physical delivery.
  • Successful applicants will receive up to £1,500 in professional fundraising support in addition to their grant.
  • Projects must be delivered between 1 June 2025 – 31 March 2026.
  • The deadline for applications is 12pm (midday) Monday 3 March 2025.

LOCAL AND NATIONAL GOVERNMENT

Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) is the national procurement platform where Scottish public sector bodies advertise contract opportunities. Through PCS, suppliers can register their business, create supplier finder profiles, and access opportunities including Quick Quote requests (i.e. for any contract opportunities that are under £50,000) from public sector buyers. The platform plays a vital role in connecting public sector buyers with potential suppliers, including third sector organisations. Public sector buyers can now specifically search for third sector suppliers on PCS. Register or update your profile today to benefit from these improvements and access opportunities across Scotland: www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk

Statisticians for Society is a pro bono scheme that connects charities with professional statisticians and data experts. This free support helps charitable organisations registered in the UK (with an annual income of less than £1.2 million) analyse data, measure impact, and make evidence-based decisions. Many charities they’ve supported have used statistical analysis to strengthen funding applications, demonstrate the need for their services, and plan for the future. MORE INFO
