Christmas Catering and Gifts Needed

Description

Pitcairn Pantry began 2 years ago and is overseen by Bonnyrigg Parish Church as one of their community projects.

It is a ‘Community and Food’ initiative - helping against food poverty and social isolation at a time when the cost of living affects so many. It takes place every Friday morning and is based in the church hall.

Everyone is welcome and they usually cater for up to 30 to 40 single and family households involving children, young people, as well as older individuals too.

It has become a real connection point for local residents where lots of new friendships have been made.

How You Can Help Create a 'Christmas Community’ in Bonnyrigg!

Are you a catering company or do you know of one who could possibly provide Christmas meals/food to make this festive season a lot more special for those in need?

Pitcairn Pantry would like to run a ‘Christmas Meal Community Event’ on either Wednesday 18th December or Wednesday 23rd December for between 40-50 people.

They would also like to give their guests a small hamper with gifts to complement their experience. Toiletries and/or non-perishable food would be ideal.

Any donation would be gratefully received.
