Donation of Chairs & Tables for Cafe Area within Community Centre

Royston Wardieburn Community Centre is based in the heart of North Edinburgh and acts as a hub, providing many facilities within the local area to people of all ages.

The centre comprises of a kitchen, café, courtyard, sensory room, sports hall and garden area.

They offer warm space, hot breakfasts, lunches and a food pantry.

They also host a variety of groups and local organisations which include: arts & crafts, arts & culture, baby & toddlers, ‘chill & chat’, parents support, social history and adult literacy.

These bring individuals together, helping to create new friendships.

 

How Can You Support Royston Wardieburn Community Centre?

The kitchen and cafe within the centre are extremely well used through the provision of hot breakfasts twice a week; community lunches every Thursday; and other regular activities and events. These areas seat around 40 people.

The heavy tables – that require 2 people to move them – are starting to chip and peel at the sides and so lighter, canteen-style ones would be appreciated.

In addition, comfier chairs would benefit their older attendees as well as helping to enhance the interior making it appear much warmer and inviting.

Easy to clean furnishings would be most welcome.
