Team Jak provides practical, social and emotional support to children and young people with cancer and related illnesses age 0-25, and their families, friends and those bereaved of a child from cancer or children bereaved of someone from cancer.

Established in 2015, by inspirational teenager Jak Trueman before he died of a rare blood cancer.

Jak's Sacks Christmas Appeal

Team Jak’s wonderful Children and Young People team take Christmas sacks into Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen Oncology wards to help bring a little Christmas spirit to children and young people who are spending time on the oncology ward over December.

Sadly, the children are unable to bring in real Christmas trees, so Team Jak bring them a little wooden one for them to decorate, alongside the sack containing a selection box and a few other Christmas goodies.
