Description

Burgh Primary School, based in Galashiels, marks its 150th birthday in 2025. As part of our celebrations, we want to work alongside businesses to promote careers in STEM and Construction to our senior classes.

Over the school year 2025/26, we will be hosting a range of STEM days for pupils and would love to hear from professionals who have the time and passion to come and speak to classes about their work or help deliver some STEM workshops to the children.

We have a selection of STEM materials in school, or we’d be more than happy for partners to bring their own. We would also be interested in arranging site visits to appropriate venues to see how the skills we learn in the classroom are used in real life.

We hope you can consider working with our diverse and unique school and help shape tomorrow's industry.
