SSUK and The Yard

 

 

SSUK designs, supplies, installs and commissions AV solutions. Their wider team also help support the delivery and execution of projects.

One of their customers is the University of Edinburgh. As part of their contract, they are required to engage with the ESES Communities Team to explore opportunities for social value investment in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas of Southeast Scotland. They were particularly keen to support organisations with tech.

 

 

The Yard is a Scottish charity dedicated to supporting children with disabilities. At The Yard, children and young people with disabilities can explore, build confidence, and forge long-lasting friendships through their inclusive play sessions.

Their mission is to build thriving communities of support.

What they were looking for …………..

ESES Communities work closely with The Yard team based in Edinburgh, who had a request on our portal asking for monitors with HDMI input to improve their office setup. As they continue to grow and expand, having the right equipment is essential for their staff to provide the best support to the children they work with.

How many individuals do you feel this donation has impacted or assisted?

We support a community of over 3,000 disabled children and young people with additional support needs, as well as their families across Scotland. Our core team will utilise these monitors to support the delivery of our services to the individuals we assist.

This kind donation will enable us to deliver our services more effectively to the families we support. We wouldn't be able to do what we do without support from members of the community.
