As the festive period fast approaches, there can be a great strain placed on individuals and families. Find out more about some of the fantastic organisations and their Christmas campaigns below, that are aimed at supporting local communities and individuals during this time. 

Edinburgh

• Looking for a Microphone Stand

  Could you consider gifting or donating a microphone stand to us? We are looking for a standard microphone stand that can hold one standard microphone.

• Help children in Edinburgh stay warm this winter

  We are appealing for 'Winter Warmers' like coats, gloves, socks, warm leggings and joggers for children and young people with the greatest need across the city.

East Lothian 

• Winter Wellbeing Packs

  It would be amazing to have winter self-care packs we can hand out across East Lothian, to help people through the dark nights and potentially lonely times.

• Christmas Appeal

  Our Christmas appeal is focused on families and elders in need, and we would be delighted to receive donations of gifts/toys for children and elderly people or vouchers for food for families.

• Can you provide tea and coffee?

  Fa'side Community Kitchen tackles social isolation by providing opportunities for people to meet and make friends. We are asking for a donation of tea and coffee or vouchers to purchase these items.

• Can you help vulnerable young people at Christmas?

  We would like support to purchase materials and ingredients for Christmas arts and crafts and cooking groups we will be running with young people at Bridges Project in the lead-up to Christmas.

Fife 

• Fife Gingerbread's Heat & Eat Campaign

  Donations required towards helping families in Fife with a special Festive Package

• Support Fairway Fife with Tech Donations

  Support Fairway Fife with donations of new or good condition laptops, tablets or iphones for their members to use.

Midlothian 

• Donation of a Christmas Hamper

  Midlothian Sure Start is looking for a Christmas Hamper or gift that can be used in a raffle at their Winter Fair in December.

  Santa Costumes and Selection Boxes for Christmas Afternoon Tea Party on 6th December

• Support Towards Backpacks For Homeless

  Help the team at Grassy Riggs with their goal to deliver 50 care backpacks to the Homeless this winter

West Lothian

• Donations Required for West Lothian Children

  The West Lothian Toy Appeal provides gifts for Christmas

Scottish Borders 

• Christmas Goodies needed in Hawick

  There are some items that we urgently need for our Festive Food Sharing Packs at the moment. These packs will offer festive cheer.

• Borders celebrates inclusive football

  We plan to host a Christmas social for the group in December 2025, bringing players, their families, and carers together to celebrate their achievements on and off the pitch.
