Background
In-Tandem East Lothian (ITEL) is a tandem cycling club based at Queen Margaret University (QMU) that launched in October 2024.
They are a friendly and inclusive tandem club where people with disabilities can enjoy the fun, freedom, and health benefits of cycling in a safe setting.
Their mission is to provide safe, enjoyable cycling experiences for individuals with disabilities who may face challenges riding solo bikes.
With trained front riders, they offer outdoor exercise's physical and mental health benefits in an inclusive, supportive environment while combating social isolation.
How you can help:
Can you supply a lockable storage box?
Queen Margaret kindly let them store their bikes in a shared space, but they need somewhere secure to store items such as helmets, tools, spare inner tubes, navigational devices and other essential kit.
Something like this would be ideal! (Its dimensions are: W145.5cm x H125cm x D82cm). However, they can be flexible with any solution up to a width of 150cm.
